The project “IDeA- Intellectual Disabilities engaged in Art” aims to promote the inclusion of adult people with Intellectual Disabilities (pwID) by providing them high quality learning opportunities in artwork and art-crafts and upskilling the pathway and accessibility of their participation in society and economy by empowering both their art-skills, soft-skills and social media skills, a for art-work related social entrepreneurship promoting their art-work products.
OBJECTIVES

Promote the inclusion of adult people with intellectual disability (pID) in culture, art, digital technology, society and economy (work-market).

Provide high quality learning opportunities for adult pwID both on artwork and on soft skills development for social entrepreneurship and promotion of their art-products through social media (digital media literacy).

Create an upskilling pathway for adult pwID from making an art-product to bringing it to the market or digital market and thus offer them accessibility to both education and employability.
Development of IDeA methodology targeting adult educators and relevant professionals working with pwID on how to organize artwork labs and artcraft training for pwID as well as soft-skill development for promotion of art products through social media
ACTIVITY 2
Implementation of a learning training activity (Train the trainer) for professionals working with people with intellectual disabilities for upskilling their skills on IDeA methodology and guidelines
ACTIVITY 3
Implementation of local workshops for people with intellectual disabilities in artwork, soft-skills and social media skills development for its promotion in a series of learning activities and creative labs.
ACTIVITY 4
Organization of social-engagement and art events and social media campaigns where pwID will promote their artwork applying the acquired skills.
ACTIVITY 5
IDeA events that will promote the methodology of the project, its results and the artwork for people with intellectual disabilities as a means for inclusion, employability, digital literacy, social engagement and participation in the society, education and economy.
